today has been awesome! i began the day with heading downtown to the farmer's market with amy and liza! we enjoyed a great breakfast there and had fun looking around. when we left, amy and i headed to cupcake....a place that makes only cupcakes (and great ones at that)! although a little on the expensive side, they are good for a treat every once in a while. jon had never had one, so i brought him a chocolate peanut butter cupcake...he scarfed it down as soon as he walked in the door from work in about 10 minutes!
today also involved a little time on the boat with my in-laws and a picnic on their dock. it was so nice to get out in the awesome weather and get to enjoy it for a change...rather than just looking at it out of my office window! it's definitely time to work on my tan....brown fat looks so much better than white fat! jon and i are heading to dinner at california dreaming in a little while....can't wait to have nachos and their yummy salad!
tomorrow is supposed to be another beautiful day, so i'm hoping for a little more time in the sun (although i don't want to burn since we are heading to florida on thursday to hang out on the beach for a few days)! i need to wash my car (all of this pollen needs to go away!) and catch up on some laundry before another week begins!
speaking of another week, this one is going to be busy! i have 3 more days at my current job, so wednesday will bring to an end my 7 1/2 years at moore beauston and woodham. it will definitely be a bittersweet day. jon and i are heading to perdido key, florida on thursday (possibly wednesday night) for matt and savina's wedding and some fun in the sun! a mini vacation for us before i begin my new job and before the beginning of jon's busy summer work schedule!
my belly is growling...time for dinner!
